Waverley Inveresk Trinity is a large hockey club with five men's and three ladies teams catering for players at all levels, from beginners to internationalists. All training is free. New members welcome.

Update

Men 1's will be fighting to go back to NL 1 next season and our ladies will be looking for promotion into NL 2.

In the indoor our ladies will be aiming to go into INL 1 for the first time ever, having finished narrowly out of the promotion positions this season. Likewise, our men will be looking to improve on last season and go up into INL 3.

District Players

Congratulations to Ewen Chisholm who played in the victorious East District U15 team, winning the inter-districts in May

I haven't heard yet about final district U14 squad members, but Harvey MacLellan, Paul Taylor, Ben Hadfield, Kirsty Dunwoodie and Sarah Mitchell are in contention. If I've missed anyone out, let me know!

News and Events

AGM

Congratulations to our new club president, Neil Shaw. Kevan stays on as treasurer, as does Matt as Men's secretary. Val offered her services as ladies secretary, taking over from Erica who stood down this season. Jackie continues as fixtures secretary and Chis as vice-president. Keith comes in as umpires convenor and Roy Crichton as child protection officer. Terry Stephens steps back into his role as youth convenor. Joy (umsurprisingly!) is our new social secretary.

Thanks to all outgoing members and many thanks to all new committee members. Without you, the club wouldn't be able to continue.
